Cookie Notice
This notice explains the cookies used by supervisionvms.com. We keep this deliberately minimal: we use a single strictly necessary cookie, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. The cookie we use

The sv_session cookie is set with the HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax attributes. HttpOnly means client side scripts cannot read it, Secure means it is only sent over HTTPS, and SameSite=Lax limits it to first party navigation. The value is signed with HMAC so it cannot be tampered with.
2. Why no consent banner
Under the ePrivacy rules, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service the user has explicitly requested — here, recognizing your verified account so you can reach the downloads you asked for — do not require prior consent. Since sv_session is our only cookie and it is strictly necessary, we do not show a consent banner. If we later add non-essential cookies (such as analytics), we will update this notice and request consent where required.
3. Analytics
We currently do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce privacy-respecting analytics via [[ANALYTICS_PROVIDER]], we will describe it here and in our Privacy Policy, and obtain consent where the law requires it before setting any non-essential cookies.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you remove sv_session, the downloads page will no longer recognize you and you will need to verify your email again. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
5. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time and will revise the effective date above.
